Building confident leaders and connected communities across regional Australia.
About
Susie Green Consulting exists to strengthen the capability, confidence and connection of people working across regional industries and communities. My work is grounded in a simple belief: when people feel supported, understood and equipped, they lead with clarity — and their communities thrive.
I’m a strategic facilitator, program designer and community leader based in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia. Over the past 15 years, I’ve helped organisations, industries and regional groups shape priorities, navigate change, and build leadership cultures that feel modern, inclusive and practical.
My approach blends structure with creativity. I design experiences that feel safe, energising and purposeful — from leadership programs and strategic workshops to community conversations and capability-building sessions. Every engagement is tailored, grounded in local context, and shaped with empathy.
I’m committed to creating environments where people feel heard, valued and confident to contribute. Whether I’m facilitating a room of 80 growers, guiding a board through strategic planning, or supporting emerging leaders, my goal is always the same: connection creates capability.
If you’re building something important for your region, industry or organisation, I’d love to support you.
My why
Based in a rural community, I am deeply connected to the agricultural sector, and have lived experience in the links between thriving food and fibre production businesses, and well-functioning supporting organisations and community groups, with overall community well-being. This extends from the local grass-roots level right up through the value chain to national organisations and corporations.
I receive great pleasure and satisfaction in helping organisations and individuals operate more effectively or achieve improved outcomes, that contribute to prosperous agricultural and regional communities.
My experience
More than 30 years’ experience working in agricultural and rural communities in different roles across different sectors has provided me with a diverse range of skillsets and knowledge.
Prior to establishing Susie Green Consulting, I led horticultural industry organisations in South Australia, provided international sales, marketing and agronomy support for a leading soil moisture monitoring company, undertook soil surveys and land evaluations, and delivered irrigation scheduling services. I first cut my teeth as a new graduate undertaking postharvest research in horticulture.
I proudly have volunteered with numerous not-for-profit and community based organisations; a life's passion that continues today.
