About Susie Green Consulting
Susie Green Consulting was established in 2021by principal consultant Susie Green, with a passion for the development of vibrant, sustainable and profitable agricultural communities, and a belief in the vital importance of local food production and thriving communities for the long term health and wellbeing of our society.
My why
My experience
Based in a rural community, I am deeply connected to the agricultural sector, and have lived experience in the links between thriving food and fibre production businesses, and well-functioning supporting organisations and community groups, with overall community well-being. This extends from the local grass-roots level right up through the value chain to national organisations and corporations.

I receive great pleasure and satisfaction in helping organisations and individuals operate more effectively or achieve improved outcomes, that contribute to prosperous agricultural and regional communities.
My approach
I work closely with the client right from the outset to obtain and map out a clear and shared understanding of expectations, desired outcomes, and timeframes.
This allows for the design and implementation of a methodology to best meet the client’s needs, using contemporary processes that are based on sound theory and deliver practical solutions.

More than 30 years’ experience working in agricultural and rural communities in different roles across different sectors has provided me with a diverse range of skillsets and knowledge.

Prior to establishing Susie Green Consulting, I led horticultural industry organisations in South Australia, provided international sales, marketing and agronomy support for a leading soil moisture monitoring company, undertook soil surveys and land evaluations, and delivered irrigation scheduling services. I first cut my teeth as a new graduate undertaking postharvest research in horticulture.

I proudly have volunteered with numerous not-for-profit and community based organisations; a life's passion that continues today.

My strengths lie in working with people and building collaborative, strategic outcomes. This is underpinned by my excellent technical, business, stakeholder management and communications experience.

I have a strong reputation for my relationship management skills, critical thinking and ability to find and negotiate solutions to complex challenges.
